Twenty Years in Asia
Our president, Anita Hummel, has over twenty years experience working in the Asian home furnishings industry. Her expertise on how to work in the Asian environment is transferred to your business. Her experience ensures the best experience for you.
Asia-Hand comes from the term “China Hand,” which was used in the early 1900s to describe a person who understood Chinese culture well. Anita’s grandparents lived in China during the 1920s, and her uncle later became the U.S. ambassador to China (see link at right).
The Stockholm Collection is inspired by the stylish city of Stockholm, Sweden. The city is known for its innovative, contemporary designs, sleek lines and modern look. Defined by natural wood, solid colors, simple patterns, and a bold look, Stockholm is perfect for your contemporary room.
Stockholm includes larger furniture, such as dining tables, coffee tables, and china cabinets, as well as accent pieces such as vases, lamps, frames, and decorative boxes.
Inspired by the small town of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, the collection contains the best of classic American furniture: hand-carved details, rich dark woods, earth tones, and distressed pieces. Everything you need to furnish a strong, masculine bedroom, study, or kitchen is included in the Greencastle collection.
Featuring solid wood, real leather, and antique stains and finishes, the collection is sure to go well with any antique American décor. The collection spans several styles, ranging from sophisticated New England to simple country. It includes tables, chairs, bookcases, beds, mirrors, framed paintings, picture frames, lamps, vases, and other accent pieces.
A dainty little European flower inspired this collection. Classy, with light tones, flowery patterns, and a soft look, this collection is all things feminine.
Essentially European in style, Linnea favors shades of white, with gold trim and shapely pieces. Everything is elegant, often with tasteful floral patterns.
The Linnea Collection includes lamps, vases, chairs, candle holders, accent tables, china cabinets, and a bed. Finishes include antique-style paint, glossy ceramic, fabrics, gold trim, and high-quality paint.
Taking its name from a northern Chinese town, Fenchow is reminiscent of the best of traditional Chinese furniture and all things ethnic and Asian.
Fenchow stays true to its Asian roots, using bamboo, silk, china, and rich dark finishes. The deep reddish tones prominent throughout the collection are finished off with antique lacquers. Calm, formal, and graceful, Fenchow is sure to improve the feng shui of any room.
Perhaps our most well-rounded collection, Fenchow boasts silk lanterns, ceramic statuettes, several Oriental buddhas, Chinese-style cabinets and drawers, Asian tables and chairs, with lamps and other accent pieces to match.
The Milwaukee Collection is a compilation of pieces that are value priced, while still giving the same designs, style, and unique character as our other collections. These items are specifically for volume buyers—those who want to buy quantity as well as the quality we provide.
You will find pieces from all styles, such as lighting, accessories, furniture and wall décor at great value prices. Mirrors, beds, chairs and tables can also be purchased with design in mind.
Because Asia-Hand is a mid- to high-end wholesaler and manufacturer of home furnishings, we insist on using high-quality materials in our products. Our full catalog includes lamps, chairs, end tables, occasional goods, accessories, chests, dressers, tables, wall décor, mirrors, and frames.
We produce our goods with solid wood, real wood veneer, porcelain, ceramic, resin, glass, copper, steel, etc. Our finishes are of the highest quality, including hand-painted designs, antique lacquers and paints, ceramic finishes ranging from matte to high-gloss, with colors ranging from solid hues to patterns to abstract blending of colors. Other finishes include horn, bone, and mother of pearl.
All of our items are produced in China and Vietnam.
Asia-Hand designs and sells its products to wholesalers and large-volume retailers, requiring a minimum order. We do not sell pieces to individuals.
Asia-Hand does not carry stock on items in our collection. To keep your cost to a minimum, items are made-to-order and drop-shipped directly to the buyer.
Asia-Hand will grant exclusivity rights if a buyer purchases a certain volume. Exclusivity will be for a set period of time for a particular geographic area.
