Home Stockholm Greencastle Linnea Fenchow Milwaukee

Taking its name from a northern Chinese town, Fenchow is reminiscent of the best of traditional Chinese furniture and all things ethnic and Asian.

Fenchow stays true to its Asian roots, using bamboo, silk, china, and rich, dark finishes. The deep, reddish tones prominent throughout the collection are finished off with antique lacquers. Calm, formal, and graceful, Fenchow is sure to improve the “feng shui” of any room.

Perhaps our most well-rounded collection, Fenchow boasts silk lanterns, ceramic statuettes, several Oriental Buddhas, Chinese-style cabinets and drawers, and Asian tables and chairs, with lamps and other accent pieces to match.
History
Fenchow
This collection takes its name from the place where my grandfather and his family lived in China during the 1920s. (Present day Fenyang, Shanxi, China). This northern China community was a Christian mission for many years and my uncle and aunt were born there. It is also here that we find letters my Grandfather wrote to his twin brother talking about purchasing and designing furniture and accessories for their home.

Just as my Grandfather took his inspiration from China so many years ago, the Fenchow Collection takes its inspiration from all things Asian and ethnic. The collection consists of cultural statues, silk lanterns, Buddha statues, antique-styled furniture, and bamboo. The collection has rich finishes, deep colors, and lacquers that look like they are authentic antiques. The Fenchow Collection offers the finest of the Asian look for home furniture and accessories.
